For months I was hearing great things about Chef Daniel Humm’s newest venture, The NoMad Restaurant, in the NoMad Hotel. Last week I was lucky enough to get a reservation during this bustling time of year, perhaps because I was going with my dear friend, restaurant critic and author, Gael  Greene. gael

On arrival, I took one look around and said to my husband, “this place reminds me of Hotel Costes, in Paris“. The ambiance is very sexy; plush red velvet, high ceilings, and sexy lighting. When our waiter came to the table I asked him who designed the restaurant and he said it was indeed Jacques Garcia, the same designer as Hotel Costes! Small world!

I won’t give you a full review. My friend Gael already did an excellent job of this which you can read here. But I had to share some pictures with you. I can’t wait to go back!
